The effects of 2020 will stay with us, stronger and longer for some.

In forcing us to experience some things differently, 2020 also offered us the chance to experience something more. Our gratitude for the small things, for the simple things, for the previously underappreciated and even unseen things deepened.

Our sense of community evolved too, becoming stronger than many of us had ever known. There were so many stories of people putting the needs of others before their own and the collective ‘we’ banding together to overcome challenges.

Time has passed. Just enough time that we are already starting to forget - to forget how we truly felt in the moment, in the year that was 2020.

We will continue to reflect - it’s what we have always done. We share our stories to remember.
